The flood mitigation options and recommendations discussed at the open days held in late 2011 were provided for Council for consideration and inclusion in the draft Long Term Plan 2012-2022 (LTP). The Council is currently deliberating on the LTP and it is due for adoption in late June 2012. Once timeframes and project budgets have been finalised further community engagement will take place and detailed design can commence.
