Water Service Connection Replacement
Over the next two years, Council will be replacing approximately 200 water service connections in Coastlands and Awatapu to reduce failures and unplanned repairs. Council will also be installing an estimated 150 back flow devices in the Rangitaiki plains to prevent contamination of the water supply..
The period this project spans is the 2010/11 and 2011/12 financial years.
These works have been tendered, and tender awarded to DrainTech Contractors.
