- We produced on average 18,020 cubic metres of water a day.
- We upgraded Rūātoki's water supply to provide safer water to more people.
- We promoted the District to increase visitor numbers.
- We've helped secure events that will bring over $3,500,000 to the local economy.
- We took care of your waste. That's in total:
- 4096 tonnes recycling
- 10,012 tonnes rubbish
- 4411 tonnes greenwaste
- That's per household:
- 296 kg recycling
- 724 kg rubbish
- 319 kg greenwaste
- We maintained:
- 172 bridges
- 900 km of roads
- 3169 streetlights
- 6341 road signs
- We consented $56 million worth of building development.
- Air New Zealand left us in April 2015... we've secured Air Chathams and Sunair for local air service.
- You registered 6028 dogs with us.
- We were award winners at the 2014 Horizon Business Excellence Awards... and we have the top-ranked Council website in NZ!
