It’s time to come out and play at Te Kōputu a te whanga a Toi / Whakatāne Library & Exhibition Centre as we celebrate our tenth birthday.
A milestone like this one is the perfect time to have a party! ‘Te Kōputu Turns Ten’ is an opportunity to come together and get your creative juices flowing with two weeks of homegrown activities for all ages.
From Monday 16th May until Friday 27th May 2022, Te Kōputu will be hosting a variety of FREE creative events including a poetry slam, a clothes swap, author visits and workshops to acknowledge Aotearoa and honour our tangata whenua.
Check out what’s on offer at www.whakatane.com/events/te-koputu-turns-10, give us a call at the Library on 07 306 0578, or flick us an email at library@whakatane.govt.nz. Be sure to keep a close eye on our Facebook page too, see www.facebook.com/whakatanelibrary.
