The preliminary results are in and these show no changes to the outcome of yesterday’s progress results.
As Victor Luca is Mayor Elect, the next highest polling candidate for the Whakatāne-Ōhope ward, Julie Jukes, is Councillor Elect.
As Ngapera Rangiaho is the Councillor Elect in the Toi ki Uta Māori Ward there will be a by-election for the position she vacates in the Galatea Waiohau Subdivision in February 2023.
A final declaration of results will be available on Thursday, 13 October 2022.
