Water repairs to affect Ōhope residents

The Whakatāne District Council advises that emergency work will be carried out on the water pressure release valves at the foot of Ōhope Hill tomorrow, Friday 14 June.

The work will commence at 10am and will take approximately five hours. The water supply to Cliff Road and Browns Road residents will be shut down for the duration of the repairs.

Ōhope residents are urged to use water sparingly during this time, as reservoir storage will be affected. The Council apologises for any inconvenience these emergency repairs may cause and thanks Ōhope residents for their cooperation.
