The Whakatāne District ANZAC Day commemoration will be held at the Whakatāne War Memorial Hall, Short Street, Whakatāne starting at 10am, Monday, 25 April 2022. Members of the public are asked to ensure they arrive in time to be seated ahead of the 10am start.
Under the current COVID-19 Orange setting guidelines, the service can be held within the Sport Stadium with no limit on gathering numbers. People will be asked to wear masks to best protect veterans and other seniors in attendance.
