Vehicles travelling to and from Whakatāne’s CBD on Hillcrest Road between 9 am and 3 pm Friday, 28 August will be diverted via Seaview Road while a number of roadside trees are felled and removed.
The work is required to safeguard the area’s power supply network and ensure that the bank on the eastern side of the road is not destabilised.
