Update 3 May 2018

Due to water issues, this closure will now be postponed for 1–2 weeks. We will advise of the new closure dates when we have that information available.

Whakatāne District Council will be closing Te Rahu Road to traffic while work to install a stock underpass is undertaken.

During the closure period, provision will be made for access in emergency situations only. A detour will be in place.
