A shutdown of part of the Rangitāiki Plains water supply is scheduled for Thursday 19 March 2015 between 8-11 pm. Areas east of the Rangitāiki River will experience either a complete loss of supply or reduced water pressure and flow during this time.
The outage is required to allow work by the New Zealand Transport Agency to be undertaken on the SH2 bridge over the Rangitāiki River and has been timed to cause the least possible inconvenience to residents and farming activities.
