Troy Baker talks photography at Te Kōputu

The photo Kaikoura Homestead is an example of the artistry of photographer, Troy Baker who will be leading an Artist Talk at Te Kōputu on Thursday, 12 May. Join award-winning photographer and Whakatāne Camera Club member, Troy Baker, as he discusses his work in support of the current Te Kōputu exhibition, How We See It. The evening will offer budding photographers and enthusiasts the opportunity to delve behind-the-scenes of Baker’s altered realities and be led through many of his concepts and techniques.

The Artist Talk with Troy Baker will be held in the Whakatāne Community Board Gallery at Te Kōputu from 5:30 pm on Thursday, 12 May. Please RSVP to Victoria.Sinclair@whakatane.govt.nz

The Whakatāne Camera Club’s origins date back to 1956 and have never been stronger, having experienced substantial growth and support in recent years. To join the Club or find out more, The Whakatāne and District Camera Club meets on the first Monday of every month at the Fletcher Cole Hall at 15 McGarvey Rd, Whakatāne.
