Members of the Whakatāne District Youth Council last week presented the $700 they raised from their recent ‘Movies Under the Stars’ event to the Dream Chaser Foundation. An estimated 500 people attended the outdoor screenings of The Lion King and Grease at the Whakatāne Amphitheatre, with all proceeds going to support children and families facing childhood cancer.
